Day 6-End of the week Already?!

This week has flown by it seems like I have just landed at JFK and already I have completed my first week of work.  Unfortunately, mother nature has decided we shall have fog and rain showers.  I would try to explain the temperature but it is in between hot and cold and it's not warm either.  It's almost like there is no temperature. Much unlike the 70-80 weather with sunshine I have heard about back in Seattle this week (Lucky!).  This was not a good week for tourists to be at the top of the Empire State Building.  Although, the weather did not stop my mom and her friend from having a great time touring the city and visiting Pier 17.  They went ALL over!  Today, they walked over the Brooklyn bridge and took a bus tour of Brooklyn which they recommended to me.  The bridge walk was only 25 min. across not the 45 min. one way that was advertised by our previous tour guide.  I am looking forward to seeing that part of the city soon.

Tomorrow is Friday and my first FHNY Softball game in Central Park.
