Day 5- Skyscrapers and Rest

Day 3 at the office was busy I am adjusting slowly back to the 9 to 5:30pm routine after a UW Spring quarter filled with class and lots of swimming and tennis.  The other digital intern and I are getting along really well we have decided to set up NY101 time after work.  This will consist of walking different ways on our way home and attending events around the city to better appreciate and educate ourselves about the area.
Patsy's Restaurant Review:
For dinner I went to a local favorite with my mom, her friend and her friend's niece and boyfriend. We enjoyed delicious thin crust pizza with sun dried tomatoes and cheese.  Our side salads had mixed greens with sun dried tomatoes and a honey mustard vinaigrette dressing that was yummy.   For dessert we all shared a chocolate mousse treat.

Why is NYC Called the Big Apple?
In the 1920s, a sportswriter for the Morning Telegraph named John Fitzgerald overheard stablehands in New Orleans refer to NYC's racetracks as "the Big Apple." He named his column "Around the Big Apple." A decade later, jazz musicians adopted the term to refer to New York City, and especially Harlem, as the jazz capital of the world. There are many apples on the trees of success, they were saying, but when you pick New York City, you pick the big apple.
