This morning I made it to work through big, drippy drops of rain. Being from Seattle I did not anticipate rain being such a hinderance. I will from now on always bring my umbrella in the morning. Fortunately, the man selling umbrella's on the corner saved my life. New York's rain is totally different from Seattle rain. Seattle rain is moderate, smaller sized drops that may or may not flow constant and light most of the day. When it rains in NY (atleast, today)it downpours like a monsoon for a few hours and then clears up in the afternoon.Here is a picture of the front of my work building.
For dinner I went to Pax (paninis and salad= YUM!)
The highlight of my day was hearing (over skype) how much fun my boyfriend, Max, had in Minnesota at Corporate headquarters for Best Buy. Today, he was filmed in a National Best Buy commercial that will air within the next couple months. Make-up and all the "talent", Max, especially appreciated the Tom Cruise references made by the film crew. Behind the camera or on camera Max does it all.
