I slept in and caught up on some much needed rest on Sunday. Then my roomie took me to Hell's Kitchen (a vintage, flea market with everything-clothes, bags, hats, jewelry, household items, etc.) We, also, stopped at another vintage store, City's Opera. With so much merchandise to look at it can be overwhelming at times to even begin to start looking. I feel like many things are that way in the Big Apple with so many stores and restaurants it can be hard to choose just one you would like to stop at. That is the convenience I am finding by living in the city rather than visiting. On a quick vacation visitors are rushed to get to dinner, a show and maybe one store or market to shop. I have the advantage of taking my time and browsing any shop I want and then coming back later if I really want to purchase an item (that is if the product hasn't been sold to someone else yet).
The rest of the day my roomies and I read our books in Bryant Park it was the perfect end to our day. The weather was pleasant not too warm, not too cold. I, also, got a chance to catch up on the phone with my mom and some friends who will be visiting me for this upcoming July 4th weekend. I can not wait to see them!
Until then "hi-ho-hi-ho" it's off work I go (and the fun gym!) ;)
