These tanks were used to break down the palace gates by the N. Vietnamese, thereby, ending the Vietnam War. Tank 843 is a Russian made T54 tank while tank 390 is a Chinese made T59 tank. |
Visitors are welcome to walk around by themselves or on a guided tour to see a number of rooms including but not limited to the conference room, recreation room, and receiving room. |
Before it was seized on April 30, this Mercedes belonged to the President of the Republic of Vietnam Nguyen Van Thien. |
