Day 65

This is my 2nd to last day in my NYC summer adventures.  Tomorrow night I head back to the west side.  My last week in the office was great everyone was so nice.  I was able to get lunches with my co-workers, go to Crumbs after work with Nathan and Jenn and have wrap up meetings for our goodbyes :( Their positive encouragement and appreciation of my work really meant a lot to me.  I have learned so much my last two summers with FH in the WA DC and NYC offices.  I feel so lucky to have been given the opportunity to work with them and I look forward to staying in touch with the amazing people I have met there.

On Friday June 7 I went to the Today Show for the last time.  It was Jason Mraz's turn
for the Concert Series.  I love Jason Mraz he is such an energetic performer and his songs are so positive and inspirational you can not help but feel good after his shows.  It was a great way to start out my friday morning.

Friday night my cousin, Tricia, arrived in the Big City! We went over to Central Park for my last FH softball game and a long walk back to Times Square.

Yesterday, Saturday June 8 my cousin and I attended her co-workers wedding in Dumbo, Brooklyn.  It was a beautiful, sunny day in the park (Empire- Fulton Ferry State Park) which is right on the other side of the Brooklyn bridge.  At the park we had a picnic and the ceremony.  After that there was a reception at a really cool bar (Five Front) a couple blocks away.  At the reception there was MORE food, open bar and a cupcake tower Cake.
The wedding was a lot of fun!

My cousin and I then had a full evening walking across the brooklyn bridge, touring Chinatown, Little Italy and Soho.  For dinner we met my roomie for sushi on Korea Way (very yummy).

I am looking forward to enjoying my last few hours here in NYC before heading back home to my family and friends.
