After work I met up with a friend of mine that I lived with last summer in DC. It was so nice to see her! We are both interning this summer in NY. For dinner one of my roomies joined us for sushi on Korea way. From the outside the restaurant looked like a hole in the wall but once we got inside it looked like an authentic wood-furnished Asian restaurant. It reminded me once again to never judge a book by it's cover. Afterwards we headed to the infamous "Serendipity" for dessert.
I enjoyed their trademark Frozen Hot Chocolate...it was very good. Picture of my dessert above.
MY FIRST CELEBRITY SIGHTING occured today at "Serendipity": Sherri Shepard from the View was leaving the restaurant when we arrived. She stopped to take a picture with a young girl and her parents who had been in her studio audience that day. What a great NY memory for the little girl.

Wow...so that's a Seredipity dessert! I hope it tasted as good as it looked. Next time I visit NYC...yum! :-)
